Concrete Slab Sawing in Jacksonville, FL

Straight, deep saw cuts in floors, slabs and pavement, up to 24 inches, with electric saws for occupied and indoor spaces.

Flat sawing floors, slabs and pavement

Slab sawing, also called flat sawing, uses a walk-behind saw with a diamond blade to make straight cuts in horizontal concrete: floors, slabs on grade, elevated decks, sidewalks and paving. It is the fastest way to cut a clean line for an opening, a trench, a joint or a section that has to come out.

ABC's slab saws cut up to 24 inches deep. Indoors we run electric slab saws, which produce no engine exhaust, so the crew can cut in enclosed and occupied spaces. Wet cutting keeps dust and heat down.

What to expect on a slab sawing job

Snap or paint your cut lines and tell us the slab thickness if you know it. We set up water and power, cut to the lines, and leave the cut sections in place or break them out, depending on how the job is scoped.

If the cut is for a trench, an opening or a section removal, tell us what comes next so the cuts are laid out for the trade behind us.
