Notable Concrete Cutting Projects

Thousands of jobs across Northeast Florida since 1986, including some of the region's best-known structures.

Our work

Notable projects

  • Stadium

Gator Bowl renovation into Jacksonville's NFL stadium

About $1 million in concrete cutting work. ABC handled concrete cutting and coring during the renovation that turned the Gator Bowl into Jacksonville's NFL stadium.

  • Utilities

    Water and wastewater treatment plants

Large-diameter coring and structural cutting at treatment plants, including a 36-inch core through a 3-foot wall. Core drilling, wall sawing and wire sawing open or remove sections of thick, reinforced walls that often have to stay in service.

  • Data center

    AT&T data center conversion

Concrete cutting for the conversion of a building into an AT&T data center. New power, cooling and cable routes through an existing structure meant core holes, trenches and openings that had to be clean and precise.

  • Aviation

    Jacksonville International Airport

Concrete cutting at Jacksonville International Airport. Airport work runs on tight schedules inside secured, operating facilities, where a cutting crew has to show up on time, work clean and get out of the way.

  • Education

    University of North Florida

Concrete cutting on the University of North Florida campus. Campus buildings are occupied most of the year, so the cutting is scheduled around the people using them.

Big jobs, small jobs, same crew

The crew that works stadiums, plants and airports also takes single core holes, short trenches and one-off openings for plumbers, electricians and homeowners. Every job gets the same care: show up, do it right, get out of the way.
